Are you in network with insurance companies?

No Shame Nourishing, LLC is currently in network with Aetna and Sentara Health Plans. For those out of network, I can provide documentation known as a “Superbill” you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

Where are appointments held?

No Shame Nourishing is offering in-person appointments at 2200 Colonial Avenue Norfolk, VA 23517,and is also accepting virtual clients throughout the state of Virginia.

What ages do you see?

Currently seeing ages 14 and up!

Can you help me lose weight?

I validate we live in a society riddled with diet culture messaging, thin privilege, and weight-centric health care that often contributes to continued desire for weight loss. I always aim to create a space where clients feel heard in their body image struggles. As a weight-inclusive dietitian, I promote health and well being, rather than focusing solely on weight loss. I am happy to discuss this further on our discovery call and/or our first appointment.

What are your fees for services?

An initial comprehensive nutrition assessment is $175, and follow up appointments range from $140 for 60 minutes, $105 for 45 minutes, $70 for 30 minutes.

Do you offer Sliding Scale?

A limited number of sliding-scale appointments are available for clients who need additional financial flexibility. If my standard rates are outside of your budget, please reach out to discuss whether a reduced-fee spot is available.
