About Dina

Hi, I’m Dina!

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist passionate about helping people build a healthy, shame-free relationship with food and their bodies. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics/Nutrition from James Madison University (go Dukes!) and completed a distance dietetic internship and graduate certificate program at Illinois State University with a concentration in leadership.

After earning my RDN credential, I began my career working at a psychiatric hospital during the peak of the COVID‑19 pandemic, where I witnessed firsthand how the pandemic, weight bias, and diet culture impacted mental health and contributed to rising eating disorder cases.

Since then, I’ve worked across in‑patient, partial-hospitalization, and intensive-outpatient settings. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to a Health At Every Size® approach, Intuitive Eating, and an ‘All Foods Fit’ philosophy, all focused on helping clients find food freedom, body trust, and confidence in their own recovery journey.

My Approach & Philosophy:

I offer a weight‑inclusive, intuitive‑eating grounded approach to nutrition counseling. I believe:

  • No food is off‑limits. We’ll explore your relationship with all foods—without labels of “good” or “bad.”

  • Your body is trustworthy. You’ll relearn how to listen to and honor your hunger, fullness, and body cues.

  • Recovery is possible. Whether you’re post‑treatment or navigating life after diet culture, you can experience food freedom, body trust, and well‑being at any size.
